Following the promotion of the previous holder a vacancy occurs for a successful curriculum leader or manager to take on and manage a wide range of curriculum in this small, thriving College where you will be one of three charged with developing and delivering learning and driving standards to outstanding. This post reports to the Vice Principal (Curriculum) and holds an influential position in the College management team.
Providing a wide range of education and training the College has strong relationships with local schools and its stakeholders. It has made impressive improvements in its curriculum and success rates recently on the journey towards outstanding. There is more to do though and this is an opportunity for an ambitious professional to build on solid foundations taking the provision to outstanding in short order.
You will need to be well versed in curriculum management and quality improvement, able to lead with an effective management style which inspires others to achieve. We are more interested in your ability to achieve high quality outcomes for learners than the length or seniority of your experience as this role will appeal to someone who has the potential, and wants, to progress their career further in college management.
