With a diverse range of successful provision which sets the standard for vocational education in its area and beyond, Eastleigh College has over twenty thousand students of which a large proportion enjoy employer led provision. The College is poised to continue to exploit new markets and develop its provision in line with government initiatives and its mission of generating success for learners of all ages.
The retirement of the existing post-holder has created this opportunity for an accomplished leader and manager to join a small executive shaping up to meet the challenges ahead. The College has a strong commitment to quality and recognises the need to become even more market driven. The post-holder will generate new income streams, lead the College's drive to maximise existing opportunities, maintain and improve the College's already outstanding provision and develop new avenues to ensure the College continues to thrive.
Partnership working is the cornerstone of the success of the College and effective networking skills will be an essential tool in your armoury. Added to that you will bring successful senior management experience and a clear vision of how the sector is likely to develop in the coming months and years. You will probably already be in FE or maybe a private training provider, but this shouldn't be taken to exclude you if you have a successful track record in vocational education and the personal qualities that will enable you to lead a talented staff of over 200 helping them achieve
outstanding results for their students and the College.
Application is by letter and CV but you should first use the links here where you will find more information as well as instructions on what to include in your application. There is also an application form available if you prefer to use this. If you would like to explore this role informally please call us and ask for Sarah Taylor.
